Hi my name is heather. I will introduce myself in another post. My question is how was the psych visit? Two years ago i tried to commit suicide. I am scared i wont get approved because of this. any advice?

mine was bad but just try if you don't like what yopu hear definately get a second opinion ok write me and let me know how it goes or just to talk ok

Thanks! I will keep you posted. what does PCP mean? Tomorrow i am going to make an appt. with my family doc to see who he recommends. Right now i am looking at 5 docs. 2 in evansville In. I might call the offices tomorrow for more info. I am going to get the process started!!!! I am so excited..however i know it could be a long road ahead... I am happy with my inner self..its my outter self i want to change

ive never tried or anything, but basically my psych was cool, all i did was go in and i told him like i had a firm grasp on how life was gunna be and how yea im gunna go through some crazy emotional shtuff right after surgery and that im totally ready to in a worst case senario die to lose weight. and he said that he belived i was ready for the changes in life that are gunna come from having surgery.
