Hey everyone, I hardly ever post but I just wanted to share that I have lost 75 lbs since surgery December 17th, including the 8 lbs I lost the week before surgery. I hope this gives anyone who is having doubts about having surgery or going through a rough patch that you will lose weight and it is a great feeling! Also, I just wanted to share a few secrets about my diet in case you are looking for a change in pace with your diet. Let see, I do NOT eat Bread, pastas, melted cheese (unfortunately), condiments such as mustard, ketchup, etc, nor do I eat peanut butter or red meat. I also dont drink carbonated beverages or consume sugar. My favorite things to eat are the PowerCrunch protein bars from www bariatriceating.com, triple chocolate is the best and I absolutely live off of sugar free Kool-aid, Minute Maid Light Raspberry Passion or Mango drinks which do not have any sugar, and only 5-10 calories, plus Crystal Light and water. Also, I have found in the frozen food section the Jose Ole mini tacos and mini quesadillas are great. They can be found in a bright yellow box and these are great meals. Hope this helped anyone looking for a change or some answers. ~*Megan*~ 278/203

Hi. Thanks for the info. IF I am fortunate enough to get the surgery I will take in all your tips. Thanks. I was also wondering if you exercise at all or do you go walking? :D

Wow, I cant believe I forgot to post about exercise! Yes, in response, I do work out about 5-6 times a day from anywhere to an hour to 2 hours, depending on what "regimen" i have worked out for myself. Basically i endure cardio, elliptical machines, bicycles and walking all at the gym. Then i do high reps with lower weights for strength training and toning. If Im not at the gym then I am definately doing laps in the pool...which is a great advantage since I work at one!
