I Beat Aetna! Lap Band Approved!

Hey I posted here a couple of times and have been fighting with my freakin insurance company. I been doing it for 7 months! Finally after I went to NY state i won I beat Aetna now they have to pay for my Lap Band surgery. I am so excitted and I want everyone to know never stop trying to get it were all young iam only 20 and now I have a life changing operation to go through and it is going to be great when it is all over. I have never been so excitted and just wanted everyone to know to never stop fighting because if you want it as bad as you do you will get it.

i hear ya on that! i had my insurance drop me a week before my surgery... but by the grace of god i didnt have to fight, they reinstated me before i even got the letter :D thats so great that your going to be able to have your surgery! it is a life changing operation. g/l with everything and lkeep us updated. _mike openRNY 2/25/05 628/550/532/???

That is soooo freakin awesome! I just turned 22 and I am applying through my insurance company and my family doctor keeps telling me that I am to young and that this surgery should be my last resort but I am going to fight like you to the very end!
