Im not sure of which surgery you had but here are a few tips. If you are having problems with certain foods, do not eat them again for a few weeks. Then, go back and try it again. Remember it is much easier for moist foods to go down then dry ones. And I know with the band, that it is designed to work with solid foods, so constantly putting yourself back on full liquids may or may not be the best thing for you. Just a few helpful tips to remember.. Megan

This happened to me after surgery too. I lived on saltine crackers for like the first 2 months after surgery. It's rough going for awhile, but every day will get a little better. I could eat yogurt after surgery without any problem, but now I dump HORRIBLY from it anytime I eat it. Just keep trying things and hopefully you'll find some things that'll work. It's all trial and error at your point. What makes you sick one week too might not make you sick the next at your stage so just keep trying. It can be absolutely miserable, but just have patience and I promise things do get better. Just make sure you keep up with your fluid intake so you don't become dehydrated. It wasn't until after the 2-2 1/2 month mark that I was finally able to start eating somewhat 'normal' again and tolerate foods more. Hang in there!!! I know it's frustrating, but like I've been saying, it does get better!!!
