any post-op lap banders?
Hey guys! I really need help. I was banded end of August and my mind is starting to play tricks on me again!
I'm starting to eat again like I used to and I can't make myself stop! Anyone else going through or went through this? I've tried all those "mantras" like "my body is not a garbage can" and all that stuff, but I just can't stop. Does anyone have any suggestions?
And yes, I've thought about getting my mouth stapled shut!

Hey Becca,
I hear ya on the eating too much thing. God, I love food.. and really that's never going to change. BTW, I'm 24 and was banded in July 2003. At one point I had too much fill and PBed every day and now I have 2.2cc's of fill and could use some more becasue I can really eat too much. It just sounds like you need more fill. It does really help. Although, I hate that sweets go down so well. But it sounds like you're doing great with your weight loss really! I started at 249 and am now about 180 so that's only 70 lbs for me and I've been post-op way longer than you. I'm pretty happy though, still have the fat but I can wear a size 12. Just get another fill and you should be good.
