Hey Jody! I am 23 and had lap rny 2/11/05. I am down 17 lbs so far..yay! I too would like the twenty-something board. When it comes up I am sure we will feel more "at home" lol. -Phoenix

Im 23!!!! Go twenties people! I dont mind going to my state message board at all... but I do agree... talking to some 40+ old just isnt the same. I want someone that is my age and going through the same issues!

No way!! I am 24 and post op!!! Go 20+ people. It is something that i was hoping that they would get going. I am down 196 lbs and about 50 lbs from my personal goal. But 17 from my docs goal. Hope all is well and if anyone is think about possibly doing the surgery....JUST DO IT You will feel great

Hey all, I'm 19 years old. Just wanted to let you know that the purpose of the teen board is to discuss how we must overcome discrimination from doctors thinking we are too young. I was supposed to be 18 when I had my surgery but it has been cancelled twice, once because the doctor thought I was too young, and the other time because of "a medication change" but i really think he thought i was too young also. So I definitely support you guys getting a 20 something board so you can talk to folks your own age. OK good luck guys. Marisa
