I hate NYC

Hey everyone, Ok here's all my good news-- - so I finally went to my primary care doctor last we and she gave me my refural to a surgen. - the surgen is really nice. - He said that I am a candidate for surgery. - He said that he would do the surgery on me. Ok now the bad news-- - The surgen said that even thought he would like to preform the surgery on me he has never operated on anyone younger than 18 (im 15 gonna be 16 in march). - He also said that he is going to do all he can to help me get the surgery but there may be a problem getting the hospital to allow him to do it. - The only hospital in NYC that would dothe surgery on someone younger than 18 is NYU but they want cash because they don't take my coverage. Sorry, I just needed to vent I'm really angry because when I finally get my mom to take me to a doctor all this happens. Anyway I hope you all are alright and I'm going to be coming on here more so that I can get to know you all better. From, Carmella

Hi im not sure if this will help you any but try checking out a childrens hospital in new york, im 16 and i just approved today for mine but because im under 18 only a childrens hospital will do it. and it may be a ways to travle but cincinnati's children hospital in cincinnati , ohio will do it on teens. hope this has helped you some .
