Anyone on this board have LapBand done?

I am 19 years old and had lapband done on Nov. 1st. I have already lost 30 pounds, but need to loose about 125 more. I started out at 335, am currently at 305, and my goal weight is 180. Anyway, I was just curious if any other teens had LapBand done? Jenny

Hi Jennifer, I am 16 years old! I am hoping to have the lap-band done by the spring. By the way what insurance carrier do u have because I am having a problem with GHI. But anyway I am currently at 370 and I am 6ft. My goal weight is 215. Just to let u know now, not many people on this board had the lap-band done! Most of the people on this board did the Roux-En-Y.
