Pain ? coffee ? to fast ?
Ever since having surgery, I'm having some strange pains ?
Okay, like if I've been sitting down, or sleeping, I wake up & have pain on my .. tail bone ? That area I guess. And it wakes me up in the middle of the night and I have to keep moving around to avoid it. Anyone else have this problem?
Okay. And I'm feining for a coffee. Even a lattee at that. Some people I know, are drinking their coffee, just not in huge amounts. Some are having decaf. Will it most likely make you dump if you drink any coffee ? I dont think I want to start that, cuz of the sugar but , I'm so tempted
And finally, I'm not even two weeks out. It'll be two weeks tomarrow. And I've lost 19 pounds. Is this to fast ?!
And I swear - I thought I felt hungry yesterday so I ate some yogurt and got full right away. But I was afraid of the hunger I felt. Does anyone else get that way ?!!
They dont want you to drink coffee because of the caffine. And plus the acidity of the coffee. Caffine dehygerates you and depletes calcium from your bones. But i drink it anyways.lol!!! And losing 19 pounds in 2 weeks isnt bad at all! Its fantastic! I lost 20 pounds in the forst 2 weeks too! Right now im a month and 11 days out and i really pu**** with the food. I feel so guilty! I eat too much, WAY too fast. And i cant stop! So im trying this new thing...its called chewing...LOL!!! Hopefully it'll slow me down!!! In conclusion, im not your surgeon, but i'd say to try coffee, and if it doesnt agree with you, then try decaf (or the other way around if you want to try decaf first), and if that still doesnt agree with you, then wait a couple weeks and then try it again if your really craving it that bad! Coffee is SO yummy!!!!

i was told by my surgeon that coffee was okay as long as it was black, and limit it to two cups a day. I'm 9mths out and I still can not drink a latte or any special coffee drink since most of them are made with half and half sugar cream whip cream and everything else. Since you are less than two weeks out I'd ask your surgeon about coffee and about the pain in your back which might be from being in surgery, I've heard some people get muscle pains from how they were put during surgery since you are unable to move yourself your body might not have been in the best position. I'd ask the surgeon about that also.
