Hi guys, I did it! I had ny surgery on November 11, and am down 23 pounds. I love it! Everyhting is going okay, except for a few things. I am over two weeks out now, and still can't sit in a chair upright, because it hurts too much. Please tell me this is common, because I am going to cry. Also, has anyone every had trouble drinking liquids when standing up. I get sick feeling even after a small sip when I am standing! Let me know if you guys can help, and I am gonna call the doctor tomorrow! Thanks Melissa

Don't worry! Give yourself some time girl! I took the pain medication for a couple weeks after my surgery too....if you're in pain, you need it! Take everything SLLOOOOWWWW, things will get better, I promise. I had a rough go at things in the beginning too, but after a while, you'll get back to normal. The pain suck, but it will go away, e-mail me if you need more help! ~Meggan 266/180/135

(hugs) its okay girl. Take your pain meds, if you need them thats what they are for. I just had my surgery on the 3rd, and I tried to NOT to take pain meds because for whatever reason i thought if I toughed it out that would be better. Well it wasn't better at all, and it made everything really bad. So if I start to feel some pain, I just take the meds. I dont have a hard time sitting up, but I'm sure everyone heals in a different way.
