Hi everyone, I cant stand it. I am going nuts, i have barely started this journey and already I can't wait. I have a consult with a surgeon in 3 weeks. I am dying for more info. and to get started with nutritionist and so on nevermind getting approved. I hope this whole journey to WLS is quick. P.S. Anyone have DR. Fiallo through Pioneer valley health assoc. or Health New england? I hope to have the band!

TRY to be patient because chances are it won't be quick. Besides, this isn't something you want to rush into, you have to make sure you're fully prepared.

I agree with most everyone else. It's going to take a little time and try to be patient as best as you can I had my consultation in September. Then I didnt even do anything for about a month after that, I just thought about it long and hard, to see if I *really* wanted to do this. And of course I did but, I just needed the time to let it all sink in and stuff.

Its a very slow process. My first appointment was in May and I had the surgery November 8th. I didnt have any setbacks... that was just getting all of the appointments in.
