Call your insurance company to see if they even cover it, and if so, what surgeons they suggest. I would think that would be the easiest way of doing so. Also, you may want to talk to the primary insured on the insurance to see if you have options of switching insurance at the begining of the year. Im on my mother's insurance and we asked around to see what insurance covers gbs, and what insurances were offered to her. Blue Cross Blue Shield covered everything involving the surgery except the nutritionalists and minor copays ($15). Also, if you have any other questions or need support, let me know. Im in Baltimore and I had the surgery Monday, Nov 8th.
