Hey Melissa, My boyfriend Tony is just over 2 years out, and compared to me being only 5 weeks, to me he eats alot...lol....he realy doesn't eat as much as I think he does, he just eats frequently throughout the day. he had the duodenal switch though. Like this morning for instance b4 he left for work, he had 4 mozerella sticks w/ ranch dressing and a glass of diet coke....an he took half of a sausage sandwhich for jack in the box with him for his break....how much are you eating if u dont mind me asking? maybe then some of us will know what you are thinking could be to much Shannon

Well, I'm almost 5 months post-op and...if I tried....I could finish a Lean Cuisine meal. I'm not sure if you know the size of these, and some are bigger than others, but just one of the regular meals...it would probably take me about 30 min. though. I can eat all the protein in one...no problem. Some days it seems like I can eat SOOO much, and other days I hardly eat a thing. It just depends. My other friend who is about 18 mo. post-op can eat alot more...about 2 small peices of pizza and maybe some fruit. My suggestion would be just eat slow and choose healthy foods! It's not so bad to eat "normal" sized portions, but just make sure it's not high calorie/high fat foods. You can do it! ~Meggan M. 266/192/130
