Ashley Hardy Update 5-19-04 Original Post by Sandy Pierce at 8:22 AM PST on 05/19/2004 Cincinnati, OH - RNY (01/04/2001) good morning sandy..............no change; no site to coming home anywhere near close.......she is in mostly constant pain;..............nausea is still as bad.....her spirits get very low which so not like ashley.......i'm waiting to speak to the dr here; we keep missing each other.....they did a standard xray and it was normal; we are hoping for another dilation friday or monday; if this next dilation doesnt work we will travel back to cincinnati.............pls pray it works; we don't want to have to make that trip again...........she is still on gtube feeds, fluids, protonix.........and an occasional supplement............i will drop a line as soon as anything changes....thanks for hanging in there we me........love you lots! Let her know she will be OKAY. It's really tough in the beginning, but it gets soo much eaiser. In a few months she'll be eating what she wants, in little portions, at about 100 or more pounds lighter. Its fantastic. I hated myself in the beginning, i wanted to die!! I was always sick, and it hurt to push while i vommited, but i came home, and day by day, it got easier. I'll pray for her!
