New to the teen Board

Hi Everyone! I am not a teen but I am 22 years old. I think I am still hip (LOL)! Anyway, I am scheduled to have my first consult on July 27th. I just can't wait. I have been heavy all my life except for a split second in highschool when I starved myself. I would like to hear from people closer to my age and size that had the surgery. How did your bodies recover? Did you have loose skin? How did your friends react? I am so glad that this surgery is available to young people. Where do you guys buy your clothes now, before surgery. It is so hard to find cool clothes in the bigger sizes. I actually hate shopping with a passion, it is so depressing!!! I am 5'1 234lbs. I am a newly wed just married in December to my highschool sweetheart (good thing I stole his heart when I was skinny). It is just so hard to go out in public and be ridiculed. It doesn't happen so much anymore but from being teased in school I will carry the fear forever.
