Sorry I was trying to insert some images in my post, and it wasn't working.

Anyway...my 15 year old son was at 420 at his top weight.  He now has a very saggy stomach and manboobs.  We are working on getting the surgery for him at the beginning of next summer.  After he finishes 11th grade.

For some reason I can't get the picture to work now.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

hi coasters, if you're big enough for wls surgery than chances are there will be some excess skin, especially in the place where you carry it most. going to the gym will only do so much but certainly won't do any harm. generally speaking though, the skin still has a lot of elasticity in the teenage years, so it's not nearly as bad as someone who had massive weight loss in their 40's or 50's but like i said, it all depends on how big you are and how fast it comes off i guess. but yeah, it's a little better if you got age on your side.

to the person who first responded, congradulations to your son for the weight loss! you must be a proud mommy :)

God bless you both
