I got the surgery April 5th 2007 I was 18 at the time. I'm 19 now and almost a full 7 months out of surgery I've lost 230lbs. I've gone from 610 to 382 (size 74 pants to 58-60)...I feel great so far! Better then ever! I recently discovered I had a bleeding ulcer but even the pain from that hasn't slowed my motivation to be a whole new me down...even with the ulcer at 382 I feel better then no ulcer at 610! Well I just wanted to say hi to all of you!

Yes. I guess I was a bit bland in the explanation...I was in the hospital and they did the endoscope and all that and I'm pretty sure they "used some heat" to stop the bleeding? I could be wrong...I am on Omeprazole 20mg for the next few months until it heals.  And yes my surgeon is in the loop!
