How can I get myself to start eating again?

I had the gastric sleeve surgery about a month ago, and I've lost over 40 pounds (I was 252, now I'm 208).  I know it must sound odd, but I have no appetite whatsoever, and I can't get myself to eat anything! Every type of food looks disgusting in my eyes, and it just makes me want to throw up. So now, I'm basically starving myself. Pretty ironic, isn't it? My parents are getting worried, and so am I. I get dizzy and tired every time I walk, I hardly do anything, and I run out of breath after just walking one block. All that goes into my body now is just juices and water. It's like I'm an anorexic girl trapped in a fat girl's body. I need to start getting protein in me. The problem is, I don't know how. I've tried protein bullets (they make me want to throw up, and I actually kind of did once when I took a sip of one),  protein shakes make me naseous,  food I can only take in very small portions  (like two or three small bites an hour).  I don't want to starve myself to death! Does anybody know a way I can eat some form of protein, without feeling naseous or feeling the need to throw up?

You've got to keep experimenting with solid/soft proteins. If you're having trouble eating/keeping your food down then you need to have this conversation with your surgeon. Best of luck.

COngratulations first off. Try making icy cold protien smoothies.  Low carb, high protien.  Lots of ice, bananas, strawberries. Try eating watermelon to eat something crunchy. You have to keep trying.  I think what is most important of all is for you to water in.  The light-headness is not good, and the next step is fainting and/or a trip to the ER for dehydration. Just keep trying everything.  And you are still healing.  Try a bowl of cream of wheat, or oatmeal.  Nice hot cerial with a little splenda on it. Unsweetened apple sause. Try mazzarella string cheese, and thinly sliced deli meats.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
