New to this and need direction/advice 30yr/old

Hi all, I am extremely interested in the lapband surgery and am a "blank slate", could really use a buddy for process. Unsure of which insurance providers are known for accepting this procedure, qualified doctors to perform it, or even requirements involving post-surgey. Any advice is needed -please.
