Ive been banded! And I'm only 17!

Hi, All! Im a 17 year old female who was banded on September 29, 2006! Just hit the two week mark! I would love to talk to some teens around my age who have gone through this and have some advice! I will take anything! :) Kasey

im also 17 (female) and im hoping to have the surgery but alot of doctors have told me i have to be 18, how did u end up getting it at ur age ??...if u dont mind i have some questions to ask because it seems very complicated with the doctors meetings and stuff, so far ive had a consultation with my doctor.but i i heard thers alot of things you need to have or be to be a candidate so i would appreciate it if ud reply back ...thanx

You're so lucky!! i have to be 18, but can get the process started in 15 days! Whooo! Tell us...how did it go? What was the process like? i.e consults, doc visits, fills, info.

Hello I'm 17 and am just staring the process this week...my mom calls tomorrow to set up all my appointments...yeah i cant wait for this life changing event...any special advice?? How was the first steps and what was it like?
