Lapbanding teen seeking support!

Hi, everyone! I am a 19 year old college girl who is having the lapband surgery on June 12th. I am absolutely ECSTATIC about the surgery, and excited to get it all just done with. It's going to be a long process, however, since I have like, 190-200 lbs to lose. I was wondering if anyone here as already had the lapband surgery, and how well you guys are doing. Also, I'd LOVE to hear your stories.. success or not, I just wanna hear some info about REAL people voicing their opinions and stories about a surgery you've had. I'm in the process of getting surgery. There is a site called www.lapbandtalk.com who are all people who've had the AGB (Lap Band) or who are in the process of getting it. Since I'm 17 I may have to wait 3 months until my consult. So good luck girl!!

Hey Nichole! Soo.. I was reading your little page thing about you, and seriously.. our stories are vrtually the same! Except, I didn't end up being homeschooled, I transferred out of my public high school to a small boarding school a few hrs away from where my family lived. It's a crazy, ironic world!
