I had one done the night of my bachelorette party. Now I have three, and am ready to reward myself with another when I reach the hundred-pound mark.

Congrats on your first tattoo.. Be prepared to get more.. There is no feeling in the world like it and nothing is as valuable as a great peice of art that you want.
All tattoos should have special meaning. All 14 of mine do..

I have two tats. One is a small heart on my shoulder a tattoo artist gave me for editing all of her papers for her English class in college. The other is on my left forearm. It is one of those old biker-style tats. It is a skull inside a rose that is on fire. Underneath it has my uncle's name in script. You see, my dad died young, so my uncle got a tattoo in his memory. That was the only tattoo my uncle ever had. Then he passed away a few years ago, so i got one for him. But after my surgery I will get more for me. I get such a rush of endorphins afterwards. Did anyone else feel this way?

i thought i would stop by and see what's happening on this forum and i'm surprised at what i see. all women talking about tattoos. i find that very interesting. where's the men at? i guess i'll have to be the first here.

Rebecca..That is Great and your friend and you are so right. I dont get tattoos unless they have a meanign to me. My biggest is a huge celtic knot called a Ceilidh..which is to be the name of our first daughter if we should have one. Said Kay-Lee and means celebration.
Im waiting to get anything onh my back till i do drop 100lbs and since my surgery is april 19th of this year..I have a bit to go but ive got it planned out..

Try typing in "tattoo flash" or "flash art". You should have a lot of luck (maybe too much, as there will be a lot of hits!) with that.
