I don't have any "name" tattoo's but if I were to get one I would use "grandpa" or "dad" and so on. Just my thoughts.

I am planning on getting one right after I make goal weight! LOL! I have to make an appointment with my artist to start making the design next week since I am so close to goal weight now!

The symbol is a conji (who knows if that is the correct spelling) and it means spirit. My WLS was a long journey and I wanted to reflect how much it took to get where I am today..... Kim -180 lbs almost 2 years post op

Question for you...if you were getting your Dad's name or Grandpa or Mom for example. Would you use their first name or what they were to you... Grandpa or William, Dad or David for example. Just wondering what others have done
