-laughs- ...now that I got off on the right foot, I have to ask anyone that has had the surgery if any of their tattoos were messed up afterward? I've currently got three and the one I am worried about is on my right arm. I have a tribal band that goes around and ends underneath, on the outside, I have the head of (what they called) a war horse. I'm really worried that the tattoo is going to get all funky and was hoping that someone had some positive experiences with a plastic surgeon and keeping their tat looking good afterward. On that note, I will be the first to admit that I am a tattoo freak. I love the feel, I love the rush, ya'll know what I mean... As I lose the pounds, I'm going to reward myself by getting the one on my right outter calf colored with a little tribal design around it to tie it in with my other tribal stuff. As my ultimate reward, I'm still looking around for someone that can draw up and do my piece that I want for my back. I really can't wait. Anyway, I hope to be talking to some of you soon and maybe bring this board to life.

Ive never heard of that.... But then again, I dont know everything lololol I do have a butterfly on my left shoulder... to me it was to represent me coming out of my cocoon and starting to live life.... I think alot has done it for the same reason..... Howabout if you get your roses the way you want and put a tiny butterfly on one of the roses... Your the one that has to live with it... I would like to have my kids names put around my butterfly tatt.... with that one I would use their names... I have a friend that did put his mom and dad's names on his tatt.. its a cross, in memory of them because they have passed on.. But I like the ideal of Mom & Dad ... like you called them... Since surgery on 4-9-04. I now have a piereced belly button and a tatt of a small butterfly on my left shoulder (daughter picked out) and last week I got one on my lower back.... its tribal art with a cheetah print in it (hubby picked it out.. my nick name for like the last 20 years has been cheetah) lol Ink Freak here The more I get the more I want But man that lower back hurt like He!! lol Shelia
