First time...

WAY TO GO! I have both tattoo and a tongue piercing. Word of caution, I took my tongue piercing out on Sunday and forgot to put it back in, and I am four months out, went to put it back in last night and it was closed over. I would have thougth it would be permanent by now, but nope. So I just poked and screwed until I got it back open again. PHEW, I have ordered some flex,plastic,ones for my surgery and am hoping I can get them in right after so this does not happen again. BEWARE, you will be going back for more! Patticake

Thanks, Patticake! (love the nickname, my yahoo is "pattislilmuffin" ) Ouch!!! I think I would have paid to have it redone with the needle! I'm already considering more tats and another piercing. The belly button is a definite after my tummy tuck, but the other one I'm thinking of? Gonna require lots of thought! ~giggle~ Hugs, Gina

awesome tat. I have one that my brother started, I've just got the outline done. I need to get it colored in. I want another one sooo badly, but until I get this one finished up, I've got to wait. I already know what my next is going to be, just gotta figure out where I want it. Also, the tounge piercing. I think the worst part for me was the swelling in the middle of the night. Took some advil and sucked on popsicles and was fine. Had it 4 yrs now and am soo glad I have it now. I forget its there 90% of the time.

I already know where the next 3 are going, but 2 have to wait until after the tummy tuck! ~pout~ I'm already forgetting my piercing is there most of the time, and it's only been a week. I love it, and I'm glad I went through with it!

CONGRATZ! Warning: Getting Inked is addictive! I took my baby sister for her first tat for her 18th and she is already working on the design for her third! LOL! I want to have my tongue pierced too but that will have to be after my surgery while I am still on my meds...LOL! I have two and I cannot wait until I have lost the weight and had my plastics b/c I am so getting inked over or near my scars! Heck.. they are gonna be my badges of a life lived... KWIM? Why not make them beautiful! Right now I have one on my shoulder blade and one on my ankle. The pix are not all that great since I cannot shoot them myself...lol... but they will have to do for now! THANK YOU! I had both pieces commissioned for me, both now appear on the wall of dancing dragon tattoo in Oak Grove, KY. I was kind mad when they posted my sun/moon/stars since they carried such private meaning for me but after a while I was flattered... besides I keep adding to it anyways... as you can tell the shooting start came years after the intital tat... so technically I have 3 not two since I have added to one of them. Hehehe!
