wls tattoo's

THANK YOU guys SOOOOOOOOO MUCH for sharing your tattoos with all of us....I'm jonesing for more INK, but want to wait until I reach goal weight..HaHA...LOL Ang~

Hey Angela, I have a heart with a rose running through it on the upper part of my left breast (which will surely go south after the surgery) and an egyptain ankh with tribal markings around it on my upper back. I got that one extended twice and will most likely get it extended again after my surgery and before I return to work. My big goal: to wait until after I get a lower body lift and get one right at the base of my spine. Most likely something tribal to match my upper back. And yes, ink is addictive!

I just wanted to post and say that I think I have everyone beat on tattoos! I have 22!... I have them on my arms, neck, legs..etc... I even have a very large one on my left thigh.. I sure hope it looks ok after my wls....

Well I thought I would jump in and talk about my tats as well. First i have a fairy on my right shoulder, shes falling backwards, and her clothes are tattered and torn. A friend did it for me, because I am a fallen angel that has been through hell, or so He said. I also have an eastern Dragon down my spine, it has wings and in its clutches it has a rather great symbol. It represents wisdom and honor. I am planning to get kanji on the back of my neck that means slave to the Goddess. I am designing a pentacle to go someplace on my back as well. Its going to take a while but I will have my full back done at sometime. ~Rachel

I got my first tattoo on Sunday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its a butterfly on my left shoulder.... its to remind me that Im now a butter fly that has came out of its cocoon..... I love it... and want more lolol I want a little cross on my ankle... and a cheetah on my breast... just the head of one and the tribal art on my lower back...... But the butterfly was my gift to myself for losing the 56 lbs so far Shelia

I have a fairy on my calf (the whole calf), a rose with tribal around it on my ankle, another tribal design on my other leg, barbed wire around my arm, a rose above that, a celtic cross on my hand, a dolphin on my stomach (although this one is all messed up from previous surgeries...) and then I have issanni on my lower back. Congrats Sheila on your loss! That's great! And I love the tattoo reward system idea!

How nice to run across fellow enthusiasts! I have 4 so far: 1. A red heart with a blue rose stuck through it, with a name ribbon running across the front. The ribbon is blank. I got it in honor of a good friend that died Oct 1993. It is on my upper left thigh. 2. A multicolored butterfly on my right lower thigh. I think butterflies are creatures of beauty and freedom. Plus I love the colors. 3. On the back of my neck in black ink, the Chinese symbol for 'chi.' To remind myself that I have great power within myself, and that I am stronger than I think I am. Also so that it emanates from there to all the rest of my body. 4. On my left shoulder blade, a blue rose with the name Brian. He was my uncle who was murdered in June of 2002. Blue was his favorite color. I soooooooooo want more tattoos. As a matter of fact, reading this makes me think of swinging by the parlor today. Maybe I will... My fiancee and I had talked about getting matching tattoos. He had this cool silver ring with the alpha and omega signs intertwined, I wanted to get that on my lower back. Before he got my engagement ring, he had me wear that one. Well, as the weight came off, so did the ring and now we can't find it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Valena Lap RNY 5/3/2004, -63#

I have 7 tattoos and working on a complete back piece. Right arm- dream catcher with two feathers coming down. In the dream catcher is a bear paw. I also have an aztec tribal band below it. Left arm (shoulder to elbow)- A female holding the American Flag and the Mexican flag to signify my heritage of my parents and the love of my country AMERICA! Back- There is a legend of the two volcanoes in Mexico City. I have the picture from that legend. Back shoulder blade- The aztec moon stone (plan to get the aztec sun on the opposite side) Left calf (side) A bear (mostly shaded in and looks like it's leaping out at you. Right calf (side) A wolf (mostly shaded in and looks like it's leaping out at you. That's it for now. I'm hoping that they don't get too messed up. I'm only looking to lose about 100 pounds and I've been there already and was fine.

So far I only have two tats. I have plans for more though. Right now I have an angel on the back of my right shoulder. A little boy angel with dark hair and blue eyes with a cloud and two shooting stars. This one if for my son that died. On the outside of my left ankle I have a raccoon holding a pink flower. This one doesn't have any real meaning.....I just have a thing for raccoons.

I have four now and I am looking to get another one after my surgery. I am ADDICTED to those things. I have my one on each breast. I also have one on each of my forearms. After I have my surgery, I want to get on across my lower back that says Sexy.
