My Celebratory Tattoo
I've got only 50-60 more to lose (in my estimation) so when I do, I will, like most of us here, commemorate the occasion. I've already talked to my artist, who did all of my big work, and he's absolutely gung-ho about it. AND to boot, he's thrilled to be this deeply a part of my life. He did my divorce Phoenix, my word as part of a literarly project, my arm piece to celebrate my music, and my raccoon tracks (just this tuesday) to honor my Nana. Now he'll help me celebrate my emergence into "skinniness".
I want Dali's "Swans Reflecting Elephants" Don't none of y'all steal it!! I have had this painting up since my college days, and I thought .. how FITTING!! The swans reflect the elephants in the small lake... Genius.
~~EDIT :
I thought I could post the HTML codes for the pics, but it didn't work. BOO. Anyone with ideas? I'll post the photos if i can.

Well, I don't want the whole thing, just the lake, the 4 swans and their reflections, and the branches of the dead trees above them. I'll do a half sleeve of it. I have the phoenix on my back, and the upper back has two smaller ones. it just wouldn't fit there. I dont want to add more to an area, like the ribs, that might need to be pulled after PS.
I eventually want my singing pinup girl, too ... but no idea where to put her!
