Getting half sleeves -- after a brachioplasty though :(

I've got amazing batwings. I want to get new ink, but I have to wait to get the skin removed, first.. On a side not I have a gigantic tattoo on my tummy, and my surgeon was kind enough to cut just over it, and just under it. Nice guy, huh?

lmao...that was cool of your doc...working around the ink! I was asking my artist that very same thing...I currently have my sleeves almost finished...I told him that if i needed brachioplasty that the under sides of my upper arms might go...he said it was cool...lol...he wouldn't be too heartbroken because he mostly did filler with candy and flowers...lol...no part of the big images would go! I wish they would let me keep the extra skin....assuming theres enough...lol so what is the design you have in mind? xxxBecca

I'm going to get a fractal in reds and oranges and yellows, and pinks done over both shoulders, back and back of my neck. My artist and draws pretty much everything, so he's up to the challenge of getting the art converted to skin but still close to mathematically correct.

That's going to be gorgeous! I have a lot more ink I want to get done but I think I am going to wait until after I lose all my weight and see if plastics is going to be something I can afford...I have 200 pounds to lose so I know my skin is going to change. =( I just hope I can wait that long! LOL

Yeah, I had a total of 204 pounds to lose, so I feel ya. I have terrible skin issues and I'm young and take care of my skin and everything. Plus, I'm not even done losing. I have another 50 pounds to go or so. So, skin... yeah.. I don't want to ink any of it until I know which panels of it I'm keeping first.. you know?

Yeah my skin isnt too bad now so I am HOPING that it will be minimal, but I know I just cant lose that much weight and expect to not have some need for plastics. Oh well, it's all gonna be worth it!!! And it's gonna be so fun to ink up my brand new body! LOL

that is soo cool he cut around your existing ink - good doc!! I have batwings too but probably will never have that surgery, so I can keep my dragon, but maybe on the other arm where there is nothing underneath I should just have a big bat wing tattooed there and live with it, lol!! Inky
