On a scale of 1-10, what is her pain level?  Have you tried ice-packs?

You may need to call the doctor to see about adjusting her medication to assist with the pain, or the doctor may want her to come in to the office.  It's better to err on the side of caution with someone who has had surgery.

Good luck, and I hope her pain subsides soon.

I did not feel better until I walked and I meant really walk not just around the house. I walk around the mall and I thought that I was going to die. I went home and rested for about 2 hours, then went out around my court. It was hard and I was tired but from that day on I felt so much better I went back to work three days later. Good Luck !!!!

The gas pain can be really bad. Walking, pepermint tea, or gas-x might help if that is the problem. Gas pain can go to your shoulder also. If it is surgical pain then ice packs may help. If you two are really concernced then calling the doctor to make sure is always the best thing. That is what the nurses and doctors are there for. Good luck.
