My doctor mentioned this too me, is this something that you have custom made or is it an off the shelf type thing? I had the Cpap for several months, but cannot tolerate it. Still have OSA tho:(
Topic: RE: Horrible Experience
I had my second study with the cpap on Friday. It came back that I have moderate sleep apnea. I couldn't sleep either with all the wires, the too tight strap across my chest (it kept digging into my left armpit) and the mask. I'd like to see the video of me tossing and turning for hours, getting irritated, attempting to scratch my the tip of my nose and around the mask that wouldn't stop itching and doing my best not to open my mouth whie I was awake. lol That feeling sucks... literally.
I think I slept maybe 4 hours. The tech said I slept long enough for the doctor to be able to tell it helped the apnea and snoring.

That's what I decided to do. Currently set to go in on the 26th, but hoping that it's sooner than that.

nice to meet you.. I used to live in VA Beach VA I missed there anyway I saw your profile... Yes Already did 2nd sleep apnea last week ago. I do with CPAP. I am waiting for my insurance to delivery to my house with new machine with CPAP. I can't wait until my weight loss then dont use it anymore praying.... =) Im glad you sleep like a normal now.

Sounds as if you do have sleep apnea and they want to fit you with a CPAP. As much as I "hate" mine, I feel so much better using it. It takes a while to deal with it and in spite of my weight loss, I still have to use it. Now that I sleep like a "normal" person, I realize that I've had sleep apnea probably all my life.

Go for the follow up test and get fitted for a CPAP. You won't believe the difference in the quality of sleep you get once you get used to the CPAP. It does take a while, but is well worth it.

I asked nurse I need to know result what's up? Nurse said that office will have to call me in few couple days for 2nd sleep apnea with CPAP that sound like I do have one?

Get well soon guys. Most of us don’t think of snoring as something to be overly concerned about but frequent loud snoring may be a sign of sleep apnea which is a potentially serious disorder. I heard this news about sleep apnea saying that the International Robot Exhibition, which happens every two years in Tokyo, is the place for researchers and inventors to show off incredible robotic creations used for numerous purposes. One group, from Waseda University, displayed one that might help cure snoring in a technologically remarkable yet totally adorable way. The Jukusui-Kun, or “Deep Sleep," system utilizes a robotic bear that is used as a pillow and utilizes sensors and robotic arms to get a snoring person to turn over and quit making noise.
