And just got my Bipap machine at home. It is amaziningly quite, not like the one at the sleep lab. But I am having a problem. I have been very congested and am having trouble breathing out of my nose. The RT said, don't take cold pills cause they dry out your nasal passages. Any thoughts?

Hi Ronna, I don't use the bi-pap but my husband and I both use the C-pap and I take flonase almost daily which keeps my sinuses clear. My husband uses it if his allergies are acting up and that also works for him. If it would be a rip roaring head cold I don't know if that med would help but in general it is great to keep away the stuffiness.

Thanks Ginakay, I saw the Doc today and gave me a sample and a script for flonase. He also said I should raise the heat on the humidifier on my bipap and that should help too. thans againf or the suggetion. Best regards, Ronna
