Sleep Lab tech here...
Shannon, I just had my second sleep study/titration last week and I should get the report back on that at the end of this week. The first study said that during REM I had 35 instances of OSA but my biggest problem was PLMs. I don't remember exactly the number, but something like 245 PLMs. I know that my legs were aching because I had to drive over 1 hour to the study and my legs always hurt me after a long car ride. I feel that was the major factor in the PLMs. Anyway, during the titration, the tech told me that I was very low pressure. He said that it was a 5. Do you have any guesses as to whether I will have to be on a C-Pap for very long after WLS? Do you think it would be better for me to rent one or buy one?
