Has anyone had that happen ? My PA called today and said that I don't have apnea but I do snore and need oxygen. She said no Cpap but something else , I don't remember what she called it. I don't like anything on my face ! I even got a little when I went for the pulmonary test and they had to put that clip on my nose ! Hubby thinks it is just a way for the ins to pay out more. What do you think ?

Did they tell you what your oxygen level was ? I never heard of needing oxygen because you snore I was told I had sleep apnea but also that my oxygen level dropped way to low. Down to 68% when I was in a deep sleep. Good luck, Jolene

I hear ya on that one My cpac came this morning. I thought they were going to set it up in my bedroom so I cleaned it and they never went in. The woman came in set the box on the table then unpacked it talking about it the whole time then said sign here, here and here. It took less than 10 minutes and she was gone. I've got to go to bed now. I'm going to get a good laugh from the look my husbands going to have when he gets to see me with this thing on Good luck, Jolene

Yes, I have the same thing as you but cannot remember the name of my disorder. I do have mild sleep apnea, but my oxygen levels are low all night long even though I am breathing; the doctor said it is b/c there is so much fat in my abdomen (my bmi is 48) that my diaghram cannot move as freely when I sleep. Anyway, my insurance won't pay for a cpap even though the dr recommends it b/c it is "mild," so my doctor put me on oxygen at night (at the number 2 setting). I feel soooo much better! I sleep more soundly, have more energy, and no longer feel like I am in a "brain fog." Instead of waking up repeatedly, I wake up one time to go to the bathroom. What a wonderful change!
