Hello - You may have severe apnea, but that does not mean you need to have a high pressure to keep your airway open. I was at an index rating of 93 on my apnea and I am set at 10. I have a friend who had an index of 85 and she is at a 13. As long as your ariway is remaning open and keeping you from having apnea, then I would think you are where you should be.
