I send so many thanks to my surgeon for requiring me to test and have the C-PAP. My surgery is coming up on the 29th and I feel so much more confident using the machine then before. I have had a few surgeries in the past where my oxygen level fell while under, so that is why this is so important. I love my C-PAP machine. I have only been using it for 3 days now, but I am sleeping like a baby, waking up only once during the night to use the restroom. What a wonderful difference in my energy level and being able to think and concentrate... I can only imagine how much better I will get.

Penny, congrats on your upcoming special day! I wish you well and a speedy recovery! I know I am getting more sleep now and feel more energy throughout the day too, but I still have those nights when I take my mask off in the middle of the night without knowing it. I can't wait to have surgery and pray my sleep apnea will go away. I just can't get use to wearing it and it's been about 4 months. It is also hard to go camping and things like that b/c I can not bring it and we camp alot.

Hi JoAnna, Thanks for the reply and support. =o) Just wanted to let you know about the C-PAP machine. All newer models can be used for camping, it needs a 12 volt battery and adapter cord. These can be found at most Radio Shack stores, or contact the place where you got your C-PAP for local info into buying the adapter and battery, they themselves, may carry it. Enjoy the summer camping... =o) Good Luck on your upcoming surgery, my best of wishes for you to have a safe and speedy recovery. ~Penny
