My teeth hurt?

I got my CPAP machine a week ago and have been using it nightly (with the exception of pulling it off one night and not realizing it). When I wake up in the morning I am noticing that my teeth hurt. I wonder if now that I am sleeping with my mouth closed if I have picked up teeth grinding? Does anyone else wake up with a sore mouth?

I had sore teeth for a while after getting my cpap machine. I wrote it off as me clenching my teeth in my sleep. I DESPERATELY didn't want a "mask" so i have the Nasail Air II and you need to keep your mouth closed with it. I was very fearful of having my mouth come open in my sleep. After a few weeks though I stopped waking up with sore teeth.

Cyndi, If you are grinding your teeth at night, you may want to talk to your dentist about being fitted for a night guard. This also helps ease morning headaches. Sam
