Ok I have slept with my CPAP machine for 2 nights now. I fall asleep right away as usual and the noise is not bothering me at all. I am still waking up several times during the night as I always have. I think I am sleeping with my mouth shut. I don't feel any different when I wake up then I ever do. Am I doing something wrong or is just a matter of time for my body to accept the machine? I am so looking forward to a good nights sleep. Any help would be greatly apprceciated. Thanks, Alan

HI, I HAVE HAD MY CPAP FOR 2 YRS. I REMEMBER WHEN I FIRST GOT MINE. IT IS A LITTLE WEIRD AT FIRST BUT YOU WILL GET USED TO IT. IT WILL PROBABLY TAKE 4-8 WEEKS TO GET USED TO. ALSO IF YOU DONT HAVE A CHIN STRAP YOU MIGHT WANT THE RESPIRATORY THERAPIST TO GET YOU ONE. GOOD LUCK!

I've slept with CPAP for 7 years and i feel no real difference other than now i can't sleep without it. i'm just as tired as always and i still wake up all through the night. The doctors however say it's important that i use it so i continue.
