Narcolepsy?

Anyone gone into, or going into, this surgery with narcolepsy? Did it help, did it hinder, no effect at all? I have this disorder, and was just wondering if I could count it as something to look forward to losing along with all the weight. Carrie B.

Carrissa, there was a member named Joyce Long that had wls and also had narcolepsy, but I don`t know if she comes to the site anymore, I think sha had her surgery in 2000. She now lives in Pa, she used to live in wv , thats how I heard of her.You could check out her profile and try to e-mail her.I do know that she is a post-op at goal.
