Provent

I had sleep apnea prior to my Lap Band surgery.  I am 2 1/2 years post-surgery and recently had a sleep apnea test.  The test now shows I do not have sleep apnea but still have some type of sleep issue.  I have tried CPAP, BI-PAP, MOUTH GUARD, and SLEEP MEDICINE and nothing works.  My doctor then suggested Provent which is not covered by any insurance company (because the maker has not requested any insurance company to cover it.)  I was wondering if anyone has used it and whether it worked for them.  Has anyone had any luck in getting it approved by Meicare and/or Medicaid.  I was told by Medicare that they sometimes will cover things sometimes in instances of medical necessity.
