There is no guarantee. Mine did not, and I am very nearly at goal. My pressure has not been lowered either. Looks like I will be on the CPAP forever.

~My story on my revision to RNY from the lap-band is in my profile~

Sleep apnea is not only related to weight. It can also be caused by heredity and structure in the airway, which won't be changed by weight loss. Good luck.

I have just had a lapband, and i cant stand my cpap machine now. It feels like its putting air and causing gas pains. Is this my imagination? I love my cpap machine and need it. what do i do?
I have tried it, and i just rip it off now.......before i would go to bed early for its benefits....
