I have been using the CPAP machine since 2006 with excellent results, but lately, I feel like I can't
take so much pressure. I really don't know what is the pressure in my machine. It says manu then
numbers came out like 2001-4000 ft, then there is the ramping that goes from 5 to 20 min.
Can someone explain to me all this?

Thanks, Chabela

Have you lost alot of weight.  I feel the same way about the pressure being too much.  I was told to come in for another sleep study if I gained or lost 25lbs. Because it can effect your pressure and mask fit.   But my insurance won't cover another one in less than a year.

i think if you call the company from where u got ur cpap machine they should be able to change the settings in yours?

mine said my setting was at 9.0  and it to has the ramp and the little humidifier thing.. im only a week into using mine but the store that i got my cpap from were awesome there is like a 3 year warranty incase anything happens etc.. but i would think they could change the pressure setting if its too much for u..  you shouldnt need to get a whole new machine
