VPAP machine for complex apnea

Is anyone using a VPAP machine after being diagnosed with complex sleep apnea?  I just had my third sleep study and it sounds like this is the machine that my doc will be recommending for me.  I guess it analyzes each breath you take to customize the next breath.  I'd be interested in anyone's experience with this.  Thanks.

I never heard of a V-PAP.  I have had a Bi-PAP machine though, but mostly have used the good ol C-PAP. I hate it and cannot wait to get rid of it once and for all.  YEAH DS!

I use an APAP which is now about two years old.  I have not heard of a "variable" either, but click on the link to the Moderated Chat .  Good luck!

Ariela,
Thank you so much for the information!  This is so new to me  and with surgery coming up within a couple months it's a little overwhelming.  Good info.  I'm going in this morning to get my VPAP, so it should be interesting,

Sharon
