COLD NOSE
cold face, sore face from tight straps, marks on face for hours from straps, cold nose, dry eyes from excess air flow in night
lots to put up with
glad I am still alive to put up with the issues
sleep disturbed more times than not with vacuum sounding in my ear for the first four years
now it is more like a purr as I am down to level six from bi pap level seventeen and eleven
still sore nose and face marks
sure wish I was weened off it by now

I can help with this one!!! Ask your dr for a prescription for a heated humidifier!!! it sits under the machine you currently have. You can use the heat when it's cold and above everything else the humidifier has a container for water so it doesn't dry out your nasal passage. You won't regret it, get one now!!
I've used nasal pillows since I started CPAP back i*****
For me it's the outside of my nose that gets cold - maybe it's poor circulation. (our old house is very cold in winter). Unfortunately airflow makes too much noise to cover it up at all.
Also have dry eyes issues due to airflow when getting up in the morning.
