Hey everyone, I recently had my sleep study and the doctors pretty much told me I'm lucky to be alive. I'm not sure how bad my results are, but they said it was the worst they had seen. I was curious if you guys would share your numbers with me for comparison and let me know what you think of mine.

Mine was something like 600 somthing in less than seven hours so a bit under a hundred per hour and 94 seconds was my longest. I asked them why the heck they didn't wake me!!!

Mine was 163 in an hour, and the longest was 85 seconds.  Most incidents were much shorter, and thankfully, I have no incidents while using the C-PAP.

I was told the same thing 5 years ago when I had my first sleep study.  Apparently I only spent about 5 minutes in REM the whole night. I had an average of 132 events an hour, which the sleep tech said he had never seen! My oxygen saturation was at 76%. He said anything below 80% is heart failure level and that the only reason mine wasn't in the 50s is because of my age (I'm 26). He actually said to me "the only reason you aren't DEAD right now is because you're young."

I have had one sleep study post-op and they reduced my pressure.  I think I'm due for another one because I'm getting bad dry mouth every morning and I'm waking up a lot.
