I'm going tonight for my sleep study and I am so nervous and anxious. I think I need to take tylonol PM before I go there. I had such a hard time staying asleep with the pulse ox on my finger for 1 night I can't imagine all that "spaghetti" attached to me. I got wrapped up in the cord and kept waking up to make sure it was still on my finger. Please tell me it's not that bad!!! Thanks, Jessica

Mine is Tuesday night. I'm told they goop up your hair - not real happy about that - I'm pretty anal about my hair! And, of course, I'm bringing my Linus pillow - I've had it since I was 5 and refuse to part with it. I can't sleep much now - imagine how much trouble I would have without it? Good luck girls! Cheryl

They did not really give me a chance to sleep because my oxygen would get down to a saturation of 40 and they would wake me up to tell me to take a deep breathe. Non of the stuff really bothered me though. Not to much stuff in my hair and it came right out.

I had a hard time falling asleep during my first sleep study, last month. I move around in my sleep a lot and felt very hampered by all the cords. At about 2 am, the technician told me I'd have to come back if I didn't go to sleep now. That thread and utter exhaustion at the point did me in. Unfortunately now I go back tonight, to be tested with a CPAP. I am not excited about this prospect but hope sleeping with a mask will allow me to have more energy. I feel very tired most of the time, and since my work requires a lot of concentration, this is not a good combination.
