am I gonna drown?

Hi, this is kind of a silly question, but I've just gotten my cpap about 2 weeks ago, and when I use it, I end up drooling lots. I know that's gross but is it normal? I wake up and my face and neck are usually soaked and I feel like I'm going to drown.

I think you need to contact your doctor about that or the company that supplied your machine. I have had one for years and I rarely drool. In fact, now I wake a few times a night dried out. Good luck. aime

* Hey Wynette, are you sure your drooling and it isn't "rainout"? I would get the rainout all of the time until I got some wraps for the 6ft long tube, now no more wet face/neck sheets. Cynthia

what's "rainout"?

* Condensation, Does your cpap machine have a humidifier in it? If so, if the temp of the humiderfier is different than the rooms temp, then that creates condensation, it then can backup and drain out through your mask, making everything wet. Hence rainout Cynthia
