Okay, here's the 1 day update. -The first thing that I should share is that I didn't make it through the night with this mask. Actually I didn't even make it to sleep. I tried for about 1 1/2 hours, but I couldn't do it. Everything was fine except the fact that the air flow was burning the inside of my left nostril. My right side was fine, but the left side was rough. It felt like my machine was out of water, so I checked it and it was fine. I also thought that my heater may not have been working, so I tested that as well. Everything was fine. I readjusted the mask, thinking maybe I didn't have it on right and this didn't work as well. -I hope I can make it work with this mask, but from the experience last night i don't think it looks good. I'm gonna keep trying b/c we all remember what it was like when we first started using a cpap to begin with. I really need this to work because my regular mask works great until it reaches maximum pressure (18), then it'll blow straight of my face! Well, it blows in my eyes and whistles very strangely. Ok, you all have a great day! Peace!

Well, so much for this mask !!! I've tried and tried to get used to this darn thing and me and the Hybrid are not getting along . I'm just going to stick with my old faithful. Ther Hybrid's straps are not fat-head friendly. It really was a tight fit. I also couldn't get the nasal pillows to fit correctly. They would be fine, until my cpap reached full strength (18) and then it would just whistle. Also, the air flow really burned my nose after a while. So there goes $175...of the insurance company's money at least. Is there anyone out there that can recommend a cpap mask that would work well with high-pressure (18)? Mine works great until full pressure, then it starts blowing of my face and whistling really loudly. Thanks. -Big Jerry

Jerry, I'm so sorry! I've only had mine a little wile but I'm finding it the most comfortable I've ever used. Compared to the Mirage Swift with a taped soggy mouth, this is heaven. I do wear it a little tight but I have my old Swift pad-a cheeks on the bottom straps. Luv the pillows on this one.

Thanks for the tip about pad a cheek. I just ordered me one from ebay. I really like my Mirage Swift, but I have to also use a wide chin strap to keep my mouth shut. I would really like to try the Hybrid Mask. Maybe when my insurance will cover it again I'll try it. Do You still like your Hybrid more than your mirage swift?
