CPAP and feet swelling

I do not know if there is a relationship but my feet have been swelling since I started the CPAP. I love the CPAP and I now sleep all night. In the past I would get up several times a night to go to the bathroom. Now I don't but the feet are swelling!! Anybody have this problem?

Any urine retention? If not, restricting of the pulmonary vasculature may cause a back up of blood and then pedal edema, doubtful that would be it, but if it was something like that it would be from your pressure setting being to high and compressing the alveoli against the pulmonary vasculature. Like a said, very doubtful but possible.

My feet were swelling prior to my cpap, and so I am on a daily diuretic. Ask your PCP about that. Ned

I have been on a daily diuretic. The only thing that has changed is that my blood sugar has been elevated but not enough to start meds. I will be having LB WLS in 3 weeks. I hope that it correct most of my health problems. Thanks for your reply.
