Hi I need to let you know my package will be going out on the 26th due to having taken a fall so I am laid up right now and I won't be able to get out until the 24th.  I still have not received anything from my secret pal and it's upsetting.....so I am NOT going to sign up for the next 3 months I might return in Oct Nov Dec  Thaks for you help..Joanneg

I hadn't checked the forum postings in about a week and then I see all you new people who are wanting to participate.  I will spell out the rules to the newbie and I want ALL the current participants to read this and if you are NOT doing what is required, don't bother trying to sign up next quarter cause I am just about ready to throw in the towel because so many of you aren't doing what you signed up to do and several people have yet to receive their gifts which is not fair at all.  So, to all of you, new and old, if you aren't ready to totally commit, PLEASE do not sign up.

To be a pal:

You need to contact your pal once a week (some pals are having a rough time and would really like more support than that).  You can contact them via email, snailmail, facebook or on OH.
You need to send your pal a nice gift of at least $10 EACH month.  It really should be mailed by the 15th to insure that they receive by the end of the month and you should get delivery confirmation so it can be tracked.
You will be assigned to someone and someone else will be assigned to you so that you make 2 new friends each quarter.
PLEASE do not sign up if you aren't going to do this.  I will be posting later this month asking who wants to participate so watch for it.  You can go ahead and request me as a friend if you'd like.
