You don't have to pay to make a friend. You DO have to buy a gift if you join the Secret Pal Group. It is NOT mandatory and is open to anyone who wants to join.

Secret pals are assigned 3 months at a time. Our main goal is to support each other through our new life.
Pals are asked to contact the person assigned to them once a week and to send a nice gift of at least $10 once a month. If your pal is having surgery or needs extra support, you would need to be there for her.
IF you decide to sign up for it, you need to be TOTALLY committed because I've had several that I had to drop for failure to take care of the person assigned to them.
Also, you are assigned to one person and another person is assigned to you so you actually make 2 new pals each quarter.

For those of you still watching for YOUR pal, I am working on it. I ended up with soooo many this go round that its taking alot longer! If some of you receive your pal more than once, as long as it isn't 2 different people, its just me being sure that I got them sent out.
